Lancaster is a member of the Nashoba Regional School District along with the towns of Bolton and Stow. Younger students attend the Mary Rowlandson Elementary School and the Luther Burbank Middle School in Lancaster, while those in high school attend Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton or Minuteman High School in Lexington.

Nashoba Regional School Committee
Meetings are held in the School Committee Room at the Emerson School, 50 Mechanic Street, Bolton. All meetings begin at 6:00 p.m.
